Nigel Cabourn - Short Kagoul
The Short Kagoul in Camo is derived from a combination of overhead smocks within the Nigel Cabourn archive, but most notably a rare American Antarctic Research Expedition Smock that features a large kangaroo pocket on the front and real fur trim around the hood.
This classic outerwear piece is made in mid-weight and highly wind resistant L28 Ventile. Based on the original Ventile used in WWII, L28 is a heavier weight cloth than L34 and has an increased durability and resistance to wind and rain. The L28 is double printed on both sides with a Nigel Cabourn exclusive developed camouflage, inspired by British Special Forces hot climate fatigues. It is seam sealed using our uniquely developed Ventile seam taping process. The real Coyote fur pelt and sheepskin inner trim used around the hood increases protection of the face when in harsh conditions.
